Hola People,

I hope you guys are doing well. I am starting a new series where-in I will be reviewing a new skincare/makeup product every Sunday. Most of it will be international makeup, so that you can make an informed choice and not just splurge at the brand name.

Today I am reviewing the FENTY BEAUTY STUNNA LIP PAINT in ‘Uncensored’. The “Fenty Beauty” brand is owned by Rihanna and has some great products in the line.

To start with, the packaging is superb and you feel like buying it the moment you see it because it looks expensive and unique. This is the thing with all FB products. This lip paint appears to be a nail-paint in its first look due to the long silver handle.

Coming to the product, the colour is stunning and as per Rihanna’s claims, this red shade would suit a lot of skin tones. I have a slightly dusky skin-tone and it looks stunning. Apart from the colour, nothing is right with the lippie.

First of all, the applicator is super weird and it would take a lot of practice to master it. The applicator looks like this:

Next, the formulation. The lip paint is super runny and thin. It feels very watery and you have to be extra careful while applying as it might drip. After application, it doesn’t dry into super matte but a satin matte which is amazing as it doesn’t make the lips dry. But wait, it is not transfer-proof. The lipstick is long-wearing, however, after 3 hours it starts to bleed from the sides and in case you plan on eating anything, it is going to stain the area around your mouth as it is not transfer-proof. If I am paying so much for a lippie, I expect it to atleast not make me look like a red panda after eating. The lipstick is so pigmented that it stains your lips after removing it and if you don’t have a make-up remover, it is going to stain your hands and basin upon washing the lips with a lip scrub.

Final Words:

I DO NOT recommend this lipstick. I don’t mind spending $24 on a lipstick that makes my life better but not on a lip paint that is going to budge everywhere. If you are not obsessed with the brand, you should give this one a pass.

P.S: The lip paint did not work for me and the views are strictly personal.

Please comment below if you want me to review any product !

Thank You

  1. This is such a pretty shade, so it’s too bad that it didn’t work out! Thanks for your honest review 🙂
