That Little Bling!

Hello to my Lovely Readers. First of all , I thank you from the bottom of my heart to have given me such immense love and support. I feel motivated and obliged at the same time. Would work harder and would strive to get something new with every post of mine.

So there was this event, but it got cancelled due to the Flyover collapse in Kolkata. I was pretty much doled up and excited for the same. But nevertheless I did manage to sneak in a few good pictures . *grins*

As usual there was this dilemma from “what the hell do I wear” to ” I have nothing to wear”. I picked up this dress from Forever New and it was lying in my closet since 4 months, unused. The dress is beautiful with this cream base and blue tribal+floral print. Its not exactly floral though, but its got some insect like patterns . hehe.

The dress looked plane jane and it quite needed the bling, something that makes it look even better. So I had bought this pair of earrings from Myntra a couple of weeks back and it went perfectly well with my dress.

This is a really old trick, when you are wearing something plain, do not forget to use the right accessories. Do not over accessorise too, but just that 1 or maybe 2 pieces can really make you stand out and draw more focus towards you. Life is too short to be plain and boring. Isn’t it ?

Thats what I looked like 😛 :

Coming to the make-up,
It was some prep and prime in the first step. A Primer by L’oreal, followed by
the Infallible 24 hr Foundation from the same brand. I used a pressed powder from
Colorbar to set my base. Next I used a silver eyeliner from Maybelline and made a
thick winged liner followed by a Black Matte Liner from MAC. I used the Colorbar
iGlide kohl pencil to line my lower lid and used some silver eye shadow at the
corner of my eyelids to make my eyes look bigger and fresh. Sealed the deal with
a MAC lipstick in the shade Flat out Fabulous.

Refrain yourself from words like “what the hell do I wear” .. instead “what should I wear now” seems good… your blog will be read by a large chunk of audience who might not do well with that kind of language .. thats my POV .. lese on the whole very nice blog 🙂 🙂

Even you mentioned about a simple go-to trick to amp up an outfit, it came off as something engaging and fresh. Keep up the good work. 🙂 ❤
